Established in 2006, Sector Three Consulting is a social business, which is driven by our values. We are committed to reinvesting our profits back into the business to support clients who need the most help by offering subsidised services.
Our office base is in Cambridge but we deliver services throughout the UK and overseas.

Gavin Shelton
Gavin Shelton is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Sector Three Consulting. He has worked in the third sector for over sixteen years, mainly within the fields of youth development, international development, outdoor and environmental education, international youth work, fundraising, management and business development consultancy.
Organisations he has worked for include the Royal Geographical Society, The Outward Bound Trust, Changemakers, The Princes Trust, Coral Cay Conservation, Voluntary Service Overseas, Cumbria Youth Alliance, the Big Lottery Fund and Raleigh International.
He has an impressive success record in fundraising and project development, having channelled significant resources into the various charitable projects he has directly managed. He has also supported numerous other organisations with raising funds, developing major funding strategies, organisational development and overcoming obstacles.
Gavin is an active Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society. He has participated in and led over a dozen expeditions and international development programmes in Svalbard, India, Montana, the Sinai Desert, Arctic Sweden, Thailand, the Picos D'Europa and the Philippines. He studied for his BA in Education, specialising in Outdoor Education and Environmental Science and for a Masters in Business Administration.
He recently took two years out of running Sector Three Consulting to set up a new country operation for Raleigh International in India, as Country Director. (Click here to view short films about Raleigh India). He returned to the UK in 2009 and moved to Cambridge to put down roots with his wife, Helen, who he met in India.
